International premieres for boats crafted by Greek shipyards - The largest in-water exhibition
The greatest yachting exhibition in our country, the Olympic Yacht Show, is around the corner. For 4 days, from October 19 to 22, the heart of Greek yachting will beat at the welcoming and revamped facilities of Olympic Marine in Lavrio, with the organizers of Ondeck Events preparing a unique show for the visitors. The Yachting business scene is kitting out once again for the third consecutive year to live its best days on Greek soil and water.
Sixty leading houses and manufacturers from Greece and abroad put the Olympic Yacht Show on the top of their agenda for one more year, showing that, after two successful editions, the event has now become an institution inside and outside Greek waters. Greece’s premium in-water yacht show is now included in the international calendar of major yacht events.
SAXDOR 400
At the four-day Yacht Show, yachting enthusiasts will tour the land area where they will learn about the latest trends in equipment, accessories, services, etc. In the floating section, they will admire and visit impressive yachts and have fun with events prepared by the organizers and exhibitors.
World, European and even nationwide boat premieres are one of the strong assets of the 3rd Olympic Yacht Show. This year’s Yachting celebration welcomes a total of 110 new boats in their natural habitat, the water. The event is going to host the world premiere of the largest boat of the Greek shipyard, the brand new Technohull 50. Omikron Yachts is also premiering with the O60, followed by the new OLR 40 SR by Olympic Ribs. The GRAND G680 by Leadmar will make its first European appearance, while for the first time in Greece we will see the Saxdor 400, the largest model of the Finnish shipyard. As far as sailboats are concerned, the Solaris 60, the Catamarans XCS and, in a nationwide premiere, the quality Italia Yachts sailboats will take centre stage.
Having the full support of the State, the Olympic Yacht Show grows bigger and bigger every year. “Just like in previous years, the 3rd Olympic Yacht Show is under the auspices of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and is an important event for the sea tourism cluster, which plays a key role in the development of the national economy,” says Dr. Georgios D. Pateras, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping.
For the third consecutive year, the Show organized by Ondeck Events at the modern facilities of Olympic Marine in Lavrio, is under the auspices of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, the Ministry of Tourism, the GNTO, the Prefecture of Attica, the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Greek Marinas Association, the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Municipality of Lavreotiki.
